The Art of White Magic

This is an introductory presentation on the subject of spiritual creativity (white magic), as conveyed in the Esoteric Tradition. White magic is the art of transforming the soul’s wisdom into tangible outer effects. It requires that one create a profound condition of inner alignment for the purpose of invoking the soul and its energy. Through the proper use of the mind, this descending energy is then expressed outward into the world as an act of creative service. White magic is, therefore, the art of manifesting the soul’s wisdom, and its purpose is to make an uplifting contribution to human betterment. In this presentation, William will discuss the fundamentals of this process. In addition, an overview of the ancient steps of white magic will be explored.

Introduction to Esoteric Astrology

In this talk, an overview of the Science of Esoteric Astrology will be presented. Esoteric Astrology is an astrological system that is profoundly revealing. When properly used, it has the power to uncover the hidden intention of the Soul within the context of a single incarnation. How this is done will be thoroughly discussed. Introduction to the Seven Rays

This presentation is an introduction to the Seven Rays of Divine Manifestation. According to the ancient Esoteric Philosophy, all of creation comes into being via the interaction of seven great streams of energy (Rays). These Rays condition all life upon Earth, and every human being is subject to their influence. From a spiritual perspective, an understanding of the Seven Rays is crucial, for it is said that every Soul is found upon one of these divine Rays. To understand one’s Soul Ray is to discover one’s essential nature and spiritual purpose in life. In short, there are seven types of Souls, each having a particular quality seeking to be expressed in the outer world. In addition, this presentation includes discussion about the personality, and the ray that it is found upon. By so doing, an understanding of the relationship between the Soul Ray and Personality Ray becomes evident. The combination of these two rays is very revealing it two ways. In it is indicated the soul's natural capacity to influence others so as to contribute to humanity's betterment. Yet, it also indicates how the personality will resist the soul's call, and what can be done to transform this resistance.

The Soul and Its Nature

When walking upon the spiritual path, an understanding of the nature of the Soul is paramount. This talk is an introduction to the subject of the Human Soul as understood within the Esoteric Tradition. In it we will examine the origins of the Human Soul and the stages it will go though as it evolves over the course of countless incarnations, Also discussed is the ancient lore regarding the formation of the causal vehicle, which is the subtle body that the soul expresses itself though. The great battle that is eventually waged between the Angel of the Presence (the Soul) and the Dweller on the Threshold (the personality), is examined as well. This inner conflict occurs on several levels, each of which will be considered.

Occult Initiation

This talk is an introduction to Occult Initiation, as set forth by the Masters of Wisdom. Spiritual initiations are always taken by the soul itself, and represent milestones of development that eventually lead an individual to enlightenment and liberation. Included will be discussion on the nature of the five spiritual initiations leading from probationary disciple to the status of Master. In it we will examine the requirements of each initiation, and the added responsibilities that each inevitably entails. In addition, astrological and rayological considerations will be presented, as well as the relationship each initiation has to the chakra centers found within the etheric body. Introduction to Occult Meditation

The emphasis of this talk will be on the nature and importance of occult meditation. Much of the presentation is on the spiritual benefits of this ancient discipline, and how it accelerates one's spiritual development over time. In addition, the dangers related to meditation will be covered, and the means to avoid them. The distinction between “meditation with seed” and “meditation without seed” are highlighted, as well as the circumstances that favor one approach over the other. The Laws of the Soul

Within the Esoteric Tradition there are said to be seven great Laws of the Soul. In truth, these Laws govern the spiritual life of every human being. They represent guiding principles by which the Soul functions as it attempts to influence the personality (lower-self). The Spiritual Constitution of Man

Planetary Evolution, and the Origins of Man

Death, the Great Adventure

Death is an unavoidable aspect of life, though mystery and fear often surround it. To those who live spiritually, death is understood as a beginning, not an end. Yet there are few who know death as a great adventure, and who truly understand the deeper processes of death, as the soul seeks to begin its liberation from form. Duality, and its Resolution

Human consciousness is largely governed by the principle of duality. For example, within our minds the idea of "left" is meaningless if the notion of "right" is not also conceived within our thoughts. We cannot know "happiness" unless our consciousness has familiarity with "unhappiness". Glamour: The Adversary of the Soul

Glamour is the force within each of us that distorts spiritual truth. Spirituality and Sex

The spiritual meaning and role of sexuality has been a mystery for countless centuries. To truly understand its significance in our personal lives, it must be examined from a both a cosmic and human perspective. The dynamics of sexuality are fundamental to all states of consciousness within creation. It is the outward symbol of the soul as it seeks intercourse with the human personality. Sex is therefore a sacred principle inherent within the Universe itself. It is the means by which humanity attempts to symbolize the interplay between spirit and matter, life and form. When sex is impulsed from the desires of the personality, we are unable to realize its spiritual meaning. Yet, when one is able to develop and hold a heightened state of consciousness, its deeper sacredness is then revealed. In this presentation we will examine the spiritual meaning behind human sexuality. We will consider the sexual urge as it comes forth in response to our animal desires, versus its expression as a function of the soul's evolutionary development. From this understanding the higher meaning and purpose of sexuality becomes evident within one's personal life.

The Angelic Kingdom

Hidden from human sight is found the Angelic Kingdom in nature. Sometimes called “deva”, these agents of God bestow the intelligence found in all of creation. In the Esoteric Tradition, deva are said to be the “carriers of life”, and they exist as a parallel evolution to humanity. Though quite separate from humanity, they are nonetheless deeply involved in the evolution of human consciousness. Using the language of symbol, color and sound, they facilitate the expansion of consciousness, leading each and every human being to an eventual state of enlightenment. As such, angelic life represents the intelligence, design, and beauty evident in all living things. Deva serves as a force of upliftment to all categories of life on Earth. In this presentation, we will examine the nature of the Angelic Kingdom and its influence in our lives, as well as its profound relationship to Nature. In addition, we will consider the Deva Kingdom as it contributes to the development and evolution of human consciousness.

The Art of Becoming

Transfiguration: The Gate to Enlightenment

Transfiguration occurs when the soul takes full control of the personality. It indicates that an individual has reached a point in his/her spiritual development when the tendencies of the lower nature are fully subdued. No longer do the appetites of the flesh, emotional desires, or the ungoverned actions of the mind deflect the soul from its creative intention. When this status has been achieved, the title of initiate is bestowed and the third initiation (the Transfiguration) is undertaken. From that point forward, life is never the same, and full enlightenment is close at hand. This presentation involves a deep and profound look at the nature of transfiguration, as well as the changing states of consciousness that must occur as a prerequisite to it.

The Dark Night of the Soul

The Dark Night of the Soul is an inescapable event when walking the spiritual path. At various stages of our spiritual development, a sense of inner blindness will emerge. When strong, it leads to the feeling that God has abandoned us. In addition, the wisdom and direction of the soul disappears, and we are forced to face the darkness of our life predicament without an inner light to show the way. Yet in truth, it is a darkness that emerges before the soul’s dawning hour. In this presentation, we will closely examine the Dark Night of the Soul experience. Heavenly Marriage: The Union of Mind and Intuition

The human mind is the true companion to spiritual intuition. When the mind is properly oriented, the intuitions coming from the soul will be correctly interpreted. The Flaming Heart

Love is the energy that governs the human soul and its expression. When the heart is filled with love, and wisdom governs its direction, one’s capacity to serve the larger whole increases greatly. The Evolution of Consciousness

When we think of evolution, we tend to consider it in physical terms. According to science, natural selection and adaptation to the environment are the forces that move evolution forward. However, the Esoteric Philosophy views this in a slightly different manner. Instead of seeing it as a physical event, it is understood as a dynamic process occurring within consciousness itself. It is consciousness that is evolving, and physical form will, over time, reflect these changes. Indeed, what science considers evolution, Esotericism sees as merely its effect. In the Name of Light

Light is a term used in most spiritual traditions to depict the nature of divinity, both within oneself and hidden within the circumstances of life. Indeed, we often describe divinity in terms of the “light of God.” It is therefore important that we more profoundly consider the nature of spiritual light, and by so doing, become more attentive to recognizing this light within our individual lives. In this presentation, spiritual light is examined in a variety of ways. The light of the soul, of love, and of intelligence are thoroughly presented. Methods to recognize the “light within the head,” are also discussed, as well the light of intuition and how it shapes progressive thoughts within the mind.
