They are, in reality, much more than that. Using the language of symbol, color and sound, the Angelic Kingdom (sometimes called "deva") facilitates the expansion of consciousness, leading each and every human being to an eventual state of enlightenment. They are also intimately connected to Mother Nature. Deva represent the intelligence, design and beauty evident in all living things. In this presentation William Meader will examine the nature of the Angelic Kingdom and its influence in our lives and in Nature. How this is done will be discussed. In addition, Esoteric Astrology can reveal those factors in one’s life that prevent the Soul from fully achieving its incarnational purpose. Indeed, throughout history many productions of the mind have been destructive to spiritual living. Yet, it is also true that the mind is humanity's greatest gift. When rightly used, human thought has the power to reveal the soul’s wisdom and to convey a deeper meaning to the circumstances of life. As such, it is equally true to say that the mind is the "Revealer of the Real." In this presentation, William will profoundly discuss the dualistic nature of human thought. The intimate relationship between the mind and the soul will also be deeply explored, as well as the pervasive influence that Universal Mind has upon all of Creation. When: Cost: Location: Further Information about the Course: Octavia Kenny Carol Duncan Registration: _______________________________ Two-Year Course (New) Milestones to Enlightenment Overview of the Course: Taught over a period of two years, this course will begin 20-21 November 2010. Over this two year period, I will be meeting with the UK Group a total of five times (at six month intervals). Each meeting with me (called an intensive) will be two days in length. It will be held at Hawkwood College near Stroud, Gloucestershire and is residential. Prior to enrolling, it is asked that participants demonstrate a willingness to commit to the full two-year process. At each meeting, I will be spending the mornings deepening the group's understanding of the material found in the book entitled, The Rays and the Initiations, written by Alice A. Bailey. This book (specifically, Part II of the text) is considered the primary text for the course, and will need to be acquired by each group member. In addition, there is a short book entitled, Initiation: Human and Solar (also written by Alice A. Bailey) that is considered suggested reading prior to the first meeting in November. During this time, my goal is to present a wide and diverse set of subjects that will enrich the group's understanding of the material covered in the morning, as well as broaden their understanding of the Perennial Philosophy as a whole. Called the Astrology of the Soul, this form of reading is designed to reveal the Soul’s purpose. In addition, it indicates how the personality (ego) tends to inhibit the Soul and reveals the means to overcome such tendencies. Readings are one hour in length, and a CD recording is provided.
